Virgin Skiing in Saas-Fee

Winter Card Gold owners in Saas-Fee can now enjoy an exclusive Virgin Skiing experience.
The first rays of sunlight cast a magical light over the mountains, untouched snow generously covering their peaks and slopes.
The Saas Valley is surrounded by no less than eighteen 4,000-metre peaks! Its breathtaking landscape of beautiful mountains and glaciers is simply amazing to behold.
When the day is still young and no sound can be heard far and wide, it’s a wonderful time for skiing. What could be better than making the first tracks in the freshly fallen snow early in the morning while other skiers are still sound asleep?
Getting up early can be worth it!

Virgin skiing takes place every Wednesday on Spielboden and every Saturday on Plattjen. The exact dates and further information can be found here.
No registration or reservation is required. The ticket for the virgin skiing must be purchased the day before.
The Winter Card Gold entitles the holder to cost-free participation in the virgin skiing and is automatically activated for the turnstile.

Saas-Fee is a charming traditional mountain village in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. This car-free village lies on a high plateau 1800 meters above sea level, nestling amongst the icy dome of the Allalinhorn and the rocky group of the Mischabel chain. The ski resort is based at the foot of the Dom, which although not as internationally well known as the Matterhorn, is, in fact, Switzerland's highest mountain, and one of thirteen 4,000 meters (13,120 feet) plus peaks surrounding the village.
