Teton Gravity Research Top 21 Moments (15): Griffin Post Hammers the East Face of the Middle Teton

2016 marks Teton Gravity Research 21st birthday. To celebrate TGR's 21st and the Word Premiere of the new film Tight Loose Teton bring us TGR's Top 21 Moments. 21 days prior to the world premiere on September 17 TGR will launch a video a day highlighting the characters and moments that make TGR what it is today!

Griffin’s Teton segment in TGR’s Way of Life is effing mind-blowing. There is just no other way to describe it. (Except for maybe aggressive, calculated, and fast.)
The East Face of the Middle is such a big, high-consequence ski mountaineering line and Griffin skied the thing like it was at the resort. He hammered it without stopping from top to bottom, over 1000 feet of full throttle ripping. Even Zahan Billimoria, who’d been guiding big lines in the Tetons for 10 years at the time, had never seen anything like it.
Griffin would follow this line by the same style of descent on Mount Moran, and Apocolypse Couloir, eventually making him known for his remarkable Teton skiing.

Teton Gravity Research (TGR) is an extreme sports media company based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The company was founded in 1996 by brothers Steve and Todd Jones, as well as friends Dirk Collins and Corey Gavitt. The group launched the company to create products that came from the perspective of athletes, showcased youth culture, and fostered the growth of high-risk action sports.
