Teton Gravity Research Top 21 Moments (6): An Ode to the Hardcore, Underground Jackson Hole Rippers

2016 marks Teton Gravity Research 21st birthday. To celebrate TGR's 21st and the Word Premiere of the new film Tight Loose Teton bring us TGR's Top 21 Moments. 21 days prior to the world premiere on September 17 TGR will launch a video a day highlighting the characters and moments that make TGR what it is today!

Just try Googling Reece Edwards, we dare you. The only thing you'll find about this underground Jackson Hole skier is his legendary opening segment from TGR's early years of filming.
Edwards was a staple and a crowd favorite in the older TGR films, and one of the reasons our founders, Todd and Steve Jones, wanted to start making ski films in the first place. They wanted to feature super bad ass, hardcore guys like Edwards that weren't getting attention from the community. Consider this an ode to all those under-the-radar skiers and boarders that just do it for the love of doing it.

Teton Gravity Research (TGR) is an extreme sports media company based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The company was founded in 1996 by brothers Steve and Todd Jones, as well as friends Dirk Collins and Corey Gavitt. The group launched the company to create products that came from the perspective of athletes, showcased youth culture, and fostered the growth of high-risk action sports.
