The Grand National Powder 8’s Competition Returns to Jackson Hole

After a 15-year hiatus, and in celebration of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s 50th Anniversary, the Powder 8’s competition returns with GoPro as the presenting sponsor and its biggest prize money yet. With $10k on the line for the winners and bragging rights to transcend skiing history, the event is one not to be missed.
Competitors will be judged on synchronization, the symmetry of their 8’s and overall style as they leave their mark on Cody Bowl’s pristine face of powder. Jackson Hole’s Powder 8’s was first won by the legendary local Pepi Steigler and Peter Habeler.
The competition will be on the Powder 8 face of Cody Bowl just outside the ski area boundary on Saturday, February 6th starting at 10:30am.
