NSAA Announces Top Ski Area Marketing Programs for 2013/14

The National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) has recognized seven ski areas with top honors for their 2013/14 marketing programs. The National Marketing Awards were announced today during NSAA’s National Convention and Tradeshow, being held April 30 – May 3 in Savannah, Georgia. This year’s awards are sponsored by Ryan Solutions, a strategic marketing and database technology firm based in Ohio.
NSAA presents the awards to member resorts with successful marketing programs that ultimately help grow the sports of skiing and snowboarding. Here are the 2014 Marketing Award winners:
Judges for the awards were Andy Hawks, director of industry partnerships for Active Interest Media Mountain Group and publisher of Snow Show Daily; Mike Bisner, vice president of business development for MWRC Internet Sales and VP of sales and marketing for Body Glove Winter Products; and Matt Skinner, chief operating officer for the Colorado Flights Alliance.
An in-depth review of the winning marketing award programs will be included in the summer issue of the NSAA Journal.

The National Ski Areas Association (NSAA), headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado, is the trade association for ski area owners and operators. Formed in 1962, NSAA today represents 332 alpine resorts that account for more than 90 percent of the skier/snowboarder visits nationwide. Additionally, it has more than 400 supplier members who provide equipment, goods, and services to the mountain resort industry.
