Epic TV: A La Française Ep. 5. Guillaume Harleaux and Friends Have One Sick Backcountry Session

French Skiing. French Riders. No Baguettes. This is a journey into the entire French ski scene brought to you by some of the best French riders on the planet. Ride with ze crew as they travel throughout the Alps and the Pyrenees, dropping, jibbing, freeriding and sessioning some of the best spots in France. Vive le freeski, vive les montagnes - this is A French Winter.

In this episode, A La Française followed Alban Martin, Thomas Lambert, Hugo Paneboeuf, and Guillaume Harleaux into the backcountry of the Maurienne Valley. This area's reputation as a world class freeriding spot is well deserved, the snow quality and accessibility make it is simply amazing. Not that the crew was just going to well-known areas, though. Check them out as they search out a few secret spots that hold the best powder in the valley. The level went up and up all day culminating with a couple of really nice jumps at the end, including a double backflip at 4:00.
