Vail Resorts Introduces the New EpicLife Magazine

Vail Resorts has changed the name and redesigned the content of its resort magazine, formerly known as Peaks, to EpicLife Magazine to better align with the Company’s overall mission of providing its guests with the experience of a lifetime while visiting Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, KeystoneHeavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood resorts.
"The new direction, design and vision of EpicLife Magazine matches the Vail Resorts promise to make every aspect of our guests’ experience at our resorts ‘epic’ and to inspire them with compelling, relevant and informative content to help plan their winter vacations at our seven world-class resorts", said Kirsten Lynch, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts.
As part of the new format, the 2012-2013 issue of EpicLife features content from award-winning journalists and photographers, including Larry Olmsted, Edie Thys Morgan, Susan Reifer Ryan, Don Cudney, Jeff Cricco, Scott Markewitz and Jack Affleck. The magazine is designed to ignite readers' passion for the winter ahead and celebrate the mountain lifestyle, while providing an insider's perspective on the best offerings and experiences at all seven of Vail Resorts’ world-class mountains. Plus, EpicLife features highlights of the mountain lifestyle, health and fitness and the finest lodging, dining and shopping.
EpicLife also previews the latest and greatest ski and snowboard gear and fashion for the 2012-13 winter season and profiles transformational athletes Lindsey Vonn, whose record-breaking accomplishments this past season in the face of adversity are the subject of the "Girl Power" cover story, and Northstar’s Shaun White.
EpicLife is available at lodging and retail locations throughout Vail Resorts’ seven resort destinations and mailed to all Vail Resorts loyalty members and season pass holders.
