Freeride World Tour Presents New Teton Gravity Research Movie Nights

For 2011 the Freeride World Tour has teamed up with Teton Gravity Research (TGR) to sponsor movie nights at European tour stops featuring their two latest flicks: Light the Wick and Deeper. These vids feature off-the-hook riding in some of the world’s most exotic locations captured by some of the finest ski filmers ever.

The award winning producers at Teton Gravity Research (TGR) present their newest ski film, Light The Wick. Shot using film, HD and 3D technology,the TGR crew of athletes and cinematographers were on a mission to capture the most jaw dropping footage to date and give the viewer an experience like no other. This pursuit led the team around the world to uncharted destinations, as well as some of their favorite stomping grounds. Follow the crew as they discover the completely unskiied big mountain mecca of Petersburg, AK, find the best snow Croatia has seen in fifty years, ski deep pillows in Italy, hit full throttle riding in British Columbia, and epic free-riding at Ripley Creek, Last Frontier Heliskiing and North Cascades Heli.

Teton Gravity Research presents a new big mountain snowboard film featuring Jeremy Jones with a handpicked group of elite riders including Jonaven Moore, Travis Rice and Xavier De Le Rue, who set out to conquer the best lines without the limited assistance of snowmobiles, helicopters or lifts. "I wanted to get back to solitude, adventure, and new descents", Jeremy Jones said. "By hiking past boundaries set in place by helis and snowmobiles we were able to get into bigger mountains, away from people and back to first descents".
