Men´s FIS Alpine Ski World Cup takes place in Kranjska Gora

The Men's Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Giant Slalom and Slalom races takes place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 in Kranjska Gora (Slovenia). 47 Pokal Vitranc Competitions are taking place in the polygon of Podkoren ski area. In addition to the skiing competition, visitors can enjoy the concerts and animations organised as part of the X-plosion of Fun event.
Located between the Karavanke Mountains and the Julian Alps, Kranjska Gora is Slovenian best known ski center. The ski area of Kranjska, from the hill of Vitranc to the village of Podkoren and Planica, offers 19 lifts serving 21 pistes for skiers of different skiing abililities (15 blue, 3 red and 3 black).
